By scheduling a move with us, you agree to the service terms outlined at the time of booking. A confirmed appointment constitutes a service agreement between you and Affordable Corpus Christi Movers.
Booking Confirmation: Once your moving request is approved and confirmed via email, text, or phone, your move is scheduled.
Rescheduling: Rescheduling must be done at least 48 hours prior to the move date.
Cancellation Policy: Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled move may be subject to a cancellation fee.
Accepted Payments: We accept major credit/debit cards, cash, and other approved methods.
Due Date: Full payment is due upon completion of the move unless otherwise stated in writing.
Late Payments: A service fee may be applied to late payments or returned checks.
Standard Liability: We provide basic coverage based on weight and standard valuation (typically $0.60 per pound per item).
Additional Coverage: You may request or purchase full-value protection or third-party insurance for added peace of mind.
Damages: All claims must be reported in writing within 7 days of your move. We are not responsible for items packed by the customer unless there is visible external damage.
Ensure access to the property (e.g., elevators, parking permits)
Clearly label fragile items or boxes
Secure pets and valuables
Disclose all items needing special handling (e.g., pianos, safes)
We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue service if:
There is a safety risk to our team or property
The location is inaccessible
Improper behavior or harassment occurs
Illegal items or substances are involved
We do not move:
Hazardous materials
Flammable liquids
Perishable food
Firearms or ammunition
Illegal substances
While we do our best to ensure timely and efficient service, delays due to traffic, weather, or unforeseen circumstances may occur. We are not liable for delays beyond our control.
